ABOUT THE PIECE
Cut from silk satin with a fluid, weighted fall. The waistband is elasticated through the full circumference, with the fabric fixed into it in even gathers that release into a wide leg from the waist down.
A self-tie drawstring in the same fabric finishes the front. The side seams are constructed as welt seams, pressed to one side and topstitched from the face, raising a fine line down the length of each leg.
Left unlined, with no pockets, so the fabric falls uninterrupted from waist to hem. Handcrafted in Warsaw in limited quantity.

FAQ
Are they see-through?
No. The satin is dense enough to stay opaque in daylight, including in the champagne tone. No lining is needed.
Will the fabric wrinkle?
Silk and viscose take soft creases with wear. They fall out as you move and release fully when hung or steamed. This is the nature of the fibre, not a fault in the finish.
Does an elasticated waist look casual?
The elastic runs through the full circumference and holds the gathers in place, so the waist stays flat and defined rather than bunched. From the outside the line reads as a tailored waistband.
I'm shorter than 167 cm — can they still work?
Yes, with heels, or shortened by a tailor. The hem is a straight edge, so the length can be adjusted without altering the shape of the leg.
What size am I?
The waistband stretches from 68 to 87 cm, which covers EU 34–40. If your waist falls within that range, this is your size.
Are they difficult to care for?
No daily upkeep. Steam to release creases, never iron, and dry clean when needed — usually far less often than you would expect from a piece worn occasionally.
Do they mark easily?
Water leaves temporary spots on silk that dry without trace. For anything else, treat promptly and take to a dry cleaner rather than spot-cleaning at home.
