Our garments are crafted from premium-quality Italian wool — a natural fibre known for its softness, durability and ability to regulate temperature. To preserve the beauty and structure of your piece for years to come, we recommend the following.
Dry clean only
Wool is delicate and should be entrusted to professional cleaning services to avoid shrinkage or distortion.
Air between wears
Allow your jacket to breathe between uses. Hang it in a well-ventilated space away from direct sunlight.
Store mindfully
Use a wide wooden or padded hanger to maintain shape. During the off-season, store in a breathable garment bag — never plastic.
Avoid frequent cleaning
Italian wool doesn't require constant washing. Spot-clean minor marks gently with a damp cloth.
Keep away from heat and friction
Avoid placing the jacket near radiators or rough surfaces that can cause pilling.
Wool is a living material — the better you treat it, the longer it stays timeless.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
Delivery
Pieces made to order are completed within 10 working days. Pieces already finished leave us within 1–2 working days.
Shipping within the EU is complimentary and takes 2–5 working days; outside the EU, 5–10. Your tracking number arrives by email on the day of dispatch.
Orders delivered outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes, payable on delivery.
Returns
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Write to us first at contact@amedare.com with your order number — we will arrange the return and send you a return label.
Return shipping is at your cost.
Your refund is issued once the piece is back with us and we have confirmed it is unworn and in the condition in which it left us.
Try it on at home as you would in a fitting room. Any sign of wear, alteration or scent — perfume and smoke included — or of the piece having been worn outside means the return cannot be accepted: it can no longer be offered to another client.

What size should I choose?
Alen runs true to size — match your usual jacket size to the bust, waist and hip ranges in the Size Guide. If you're between two sizes, we'd size up so you can layer a knit underneath.
Is Alen warm enough for winter?
Yes, worn as part of a layering system. In colder temperatures it works best over a knit or with additional layers underneath — it's a jacket built for movement, not a heavy winter coat on its own.
How is it different from a long coat like Zoye?
Alen is cut shorter, at the hip, for a lighter, more everyday feel. It's the piece you reach for when you want the warmth and quality of Italian wool without the weight or formality of a full-length coat.
Does it work in a capsule wardrobe?
That is what it was built for. Alen layers from autumn through early spring and stands in for a long coat when you want less bulk.
What does the fabric feel like?
100% virgin wool, finished to be soft rather than coarse, with a cupro-elastane lining that moves with you. Most people find it comfortable over a shirt or knit.
Is it for everyday wear or more of an occasion piece?
Everyday, by design. Alen was built for capsule wardrobes and minimalist styling — the jacket you can wear on repeat across autumn, winter and early spring.
Will the colour mark easily?
The milky shade is lighter than our black pieces, so we'd recommend a little extra care — treat any mark promptly and take it to a professional cleaner rather than attempting to spot-clean at home.
Does it pill?
Some pilling under the arms or where a bag strap sits is normal for any natural wool fibre — it isn't a fault. A cashmere comb removes it gently; details are in our care guide.

Yes — you have 14 days to change your mind, no reason needed, and we refund the price along with standard delivery. Return postage is yours. Try it on as you would in a fitting room.

In-stock sizes are packed and handed to the courier within 1–2 business days, then 2–5 business days across the EU. Pre-order pieces are dispatched within 10 business days.
